João Figueiredo was born in Lisbon in 1970. His academic career includes several years dedicated to the study of Art History

and a course in animation cinema at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

He graduated in Design in 1993 from IADE

and later attended the drawing and visual arts course at AR.CO.
